Ivanka Trump ‘Not Wanted’ posters appear across New York City

Ivanka Trump should not expect a warm welcome back in New York after a string of “Not Wanted” posters appeared across Manhattan.

Donald Trump’s daughter has faced fierce criticism for not preventing her father implementing a string of controversial policies, including child separation at the US border.

Now the frontier-style signs have appeared in Ms Trump’s former hometown just weeks before her father is due to leave the White House.

They are the work of the Good Liars comedy duo of Jason Selvig and Davram Stiefler and mock among other things Ms Trump’s “fake posh” accent.

Her husband, senior White House advisor Jared Kushner, also gets targeted and is referred to as fictional supernatural character Slender Man.

Ms Trump and Mr Kushner are reportedly already thinking of avoiding a return to New York and have eyed relocating to either New Jersey or Florida in January.

A former friend of Ivanka’s anonymously told Vanity Fair that Ms Trump would face being shunned by Manhattan’s social elite if she tried to return to the city.

The emergency room doctor who was reportedly removed from his hospital’s rota schedule for publicly calling out Donald Trump said he stands by his words and does not regret criticising the president for his “insanity” to wave at supporters while getting treatment for Covid-19. To the Editor: Back in 1995, the NRA’s Wayne LaPierre complained, “The government is full of jack-booted thugs in bucket helmets” trampling on our constitutional rights. Now we see presumably federal government agents, this time in military camouflage, wearing no badges, forcing peaceable protesters into unmarked vehicles in Portland, Oregon. Where is the NRA and all those who complained then? Our President Donald Trump has threatened to do the same in other cities, in spite of the objections by the mayor and governor of the place it has already happened. Our president, his agency heads and the agents themselves swore an oath to uphold the Constitution. I took an oath to defend the Constitution, too. I’ve been retired from the Army almost a half century but two things upset me about this use of anonymous federal agents: First, it is wrong.
